Dr Whitewood is pressured to share her knowledge of the wolfbloods' capabilities, and Jana is interrogated by Smith and Jones, who are seeking Alexander Kincaid's whereabouts.

Smith gives examples of Wolfbloods integrating with less success and uses Ceri's testimony to argue that everything they've heard about wild Wolfbloods leads them to believe that savagery will prevail if Wolfbloods are allowed into society.

Jones uses Shannon's testimony to prove that she is well informed and will get to the truth. Jana talks freely about wolfblood gifts and their incredible instincts. To highlight the point, Jana reveals that she knows someone has been speaking to Jones through an earpiece. What they really want is to find out how dangerous wolfbloods truly are.
