Belén throws herself off a cliff so that Detective Serapio won't arrest her. Doctor Lázaro shows Diego Don Rómulo's secret room, where documents proving his true identity are hidden.

Detective Serapio tells Isabel that Diego is a murderer and that his real name is Juan Camilo Angarica. Meanwhile, Isabel devises a plan and pretends to reconcile with Diego in order to expose him.

Isabel discovers that Teresa forged Don Rómulo's will. Andrés tells Olegario that he accepts the position of hotel director.

Andrés sees from the balcony how Belén weeps over his coffin and then appears before everyone. Belén tells Detective Serapio that she fled the town because she feared for her life and that she faked her death to protect herself.

Natalia tells Detective Serapio that Belén is alive. Julio watches over Andrés's body in the coffin; he wakes up and tells him that he pretended to be dead in order to unmask the real killer.

Detective Serapio rescues Isabel and Julio from their kidnapping. Gabriel discovers that Belén is not dead, but he is unable to stop Andrés's execution.

Jacinto tells Julio that he followed Diego and knows where Isabel is. Andrés is sentenced to death for the murder of Belén.

Diego's mother forbids him from seeing Isabel and beats him so that Teresa won't think he is colluding with the kidnappers.

Detective Serapio asks Matilde to tend to Julio because he was wounded by a gunshot. Felipe confesses his love to Manuela. The woman who kidnapped Isabel tells her that she is Diego's mother.

Diego hits Isabel to stop her from leaving her room. Andrés confesses to Detective Serapio that he killed Belén.

Andrés tells Julio that he thinks he killed Belén because he woke up covered in blood and doesn't remember anything. Meanwhile, Diego tells Isabel that Belén has died and that the police believe Andrés is the main suspect.

Detective Serapio tells Isabel, Julio, and Matilde that Diego is his main suspect in Don Rómulo's murder.

Belén demands that Elisa return her child; otherwise, she will make sure they are left without money. Isabel tells Julio through her bedroom door that she can no longer keep seeing him.

Julio shoots Don Benjamín when he is about to stab Isabel. Don Benjamín tells Detective Serapio that he did everything for Ángela.

Alfredo finds locks of hair from all the victims and gives them to Elisa while he goes to look for Detective Serapio, and she decides to burn them.

Detective Serapio searches for clues in Diego's former room and finds a musical score. Meanwhile, Diego tells Sofía that he saw her in a vision and that she must face the truth of her past while confined in the hotel.

Isabel, Matilde, Julio, and Detective Serapio enter what used to be Don Rómulo's room to decipher the constellations he left written down.

Detective Serapio asks Matilde for help deciphering the papers Isabel gave him, and they go into Don Rómulo's library to investigate.

Diego has a fever, mistakes Isabel for Don Rómulo, and gives her a box with important documents. Andrés asks Ángela to start over without lies, and she goes with him to receive Don Rómulo's surname.

Diego delivers Felipe's ransom and is stabbed by the killer with the golden knife. Detective Serapio interrogates Felipe about Don Rómulo's murder. Teresa tries to flee but ultimately faces the consequences of all her crimes, as the fate of the hotel's inhabitants is sealed forever.

Teresa tells Isabel that Felipe has been kidnapped, but that they cannot inform the police. Detective Serapio interrogates Olegario about Don Rómulo's death, and he states that it was Felipe.

Diego informs Ángela that Andrés requested a suite on the Alarcón family floor. Dagoberto and Detective Serapio discover that Teresa was behind several crimes and manipulations that shaped the hotel's history.

Andrés and Belén get married in a church ceremony. Teresa orders Jacinto to kill Felipe's kidnappers. Andrés tells Olegario that he is ready to face the truth about his family and protect his loved ones.

Cecilia tells Isabel that Teresa asked her to sleep with Diego because he was dissatisfied, but that she did everything because she loves Julio.

Olegario tells Andrés that Belén still loves him. Belén tells Andrés that he is Don Rómulo's son. Andrés makes a toast in front of everyone at the hotel to celebrate that he is Don Rómulo's son.

Mimí Peralta arrives at the hotel. Isabel takes Ángela to Detective Serapio so she can give a statement about Don Rómulo's death. Belén returns to the hotel determined to recover her child and confront Teresa.

Isabel confesses to Julio that she is pregnant. Andrés decides to leave with Natalia to start a new life. Teresa confronts Serapio, and he reveals something that will change everyone's destiny.

Isabel visits Don Rómulo's grave, and Detective Serapio takes the body to the police station to perform an autopsy. Julio advises Andrés to give himself a chance with Natalia.

The bandits abandon Mr. Tagle's body in the church, and Detective Serapio discovers that he died from smoking opium. Detective Serapio tells Teresa that there is no evidence against her. Isabel and Julio can finally live their love, while the hotel's secrets are finally brought to light and each character faces the consequences of their actions.

Andrés tells Natalia that he feels lonely, and she kisses him to show that she is there for him. Isabel reads a letter that Don Rómulo wrote to Andrés in which he confesses the whole truth about his origins.

Elisa asks Teresa to prevent Sofía and Alfredo from separating. Isabel and Julio discover a secret passageway in Don Rómulo's office.

Andrés tells Alfredo that Teresa took Belén's child to give it to Sofía. Guadalupe gives all her savings to Ángela so she can pay Andrés's father.

Doctor Lázaro tells Teresa that it would be best for Sofía to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital. Isabel tells Julio that Ángela was the love of Don Rómulo's life.

Alfredo demands that Diego return the documents for all his lands. Isabel has sex with Diego for the first time. Ángela looks for the necklace with her name engraved on it, and Teresa discovers her.

Cecilia proposes to Teresa that she give Diego what he needs as a man in exchange for her friendship. Isabel discovers a pendant that belonged to Don Rómulo with Ángela's name engraved on it.

Ángela tries to warn Belén so that Teresa doesn't steal her child. Isabel runs into Sofía and grows worried when she sees that her madness has worsened, as Sofía insists that her baby has died.

Alfredo will look for a lawyer to take away everything Elisa inherited from her father. Sofía believes she may have killed her child due to her mental problems and bouts of drunkenness.

Isabel finds a morphine syringe in Andrés's room and keeps it so Detective Serapio can take the fingerprints.

Detective Serapio interrogates Andrés, but Teresa throws him out of the hotel because he doesn't have a judge's warrant. Julio asks Cecilia for forgiveness for abandoning her, and she offers him her condolences for Cristina's death.

Belén tells Andrés that Teresa took her child to give it to Sofía, but that she had twins and no one knows. Andrés reveals that he didn't have an accident—that he was attacked by the killer with the golden knife.

Cecilia arrives at the hotel looking for Julio. Ángela tells Teresa that Belén threatened her with telling Andrés that he is Don Rómulo's son.

Diego tells Isabel that he wants her to stop seeing her patients in order to fulfill her duties as a wife. Elisa tells Diego that she won't do business with him until he helps her find out who Sofía's child belongs to.

Julio offers to go into the mine to rescue the survivors, but he comes out injured. Ángela finds out that Teresa took Belén's child away and that Don Rómulo is Andrés's father.

Julio asks Isabel to run away with him to start a new life together. Detective Serapio obtains a warrant to investigate the hotel and finds the weapon used to murder Cristina.

Teresa informs the employees and guests that Cristina died while trying to blow up the hotel. Felipe catches Eugenia trying to kill Mercedes. Isabel and Julio make love for the first time.

Cristina demands that Teresa give her money in exchange for the letter. Julio goes looking for Cristina at Pascual's house, but he runs into Detective Serapio there.

Teresa and General Ballesteros tell Felipe that he will marry Eugenia. Elisa tells Ángela that she will help her if, in return, she tells her what happened the night of Sofía's accident. Teresa offers Belén money in exchange for handing over her child.

Felipe is about to face General Ballesteros in a duel, but they are interrupted by Mercedes's scream as she falls from a window.

Teresa asks Alfredo to help Felipe so that General Ballesteros doesn't kill him. Cristina sneaks into the hotel to look for the letter, but she doesn't find it where she hid it. Ángela tells Teresa that she saw Cristina in the hotel.

Detective Serapio discovers that another golden knife is missing and wants to take fingerprints to find the killer.

Belén makes Violeta a tea to make her lose her baby. Teresa demands that Diego leave the hotel, but he threatens her with revealing what her husband's letter said.

Julio tells Isabel that her father gave a letter to Cristina. Isabel is attacked by the killer with the golden knife.

Julio is about to be killed by the man Diego sent, but Cristina saves him. Teresa appoints Alfredo as the new director of the hotel.

Alfredo appears again and enters Sofía's room to see her and explain why he disappeared. Belén is surprised to hear that Sofía's pregnancy is a sham.

Dr. Lázaro tells Teresa that he will find another child to pass off as Sofía's son. Isabel tells Julio that she is no longer engaged to Diego and kisses him.

Sofía discovers that Belén is Diego's lover. Detective Serapio arrests Diego for Cristina's disappearance.

Julio asks Genaro to reveal who killed Ximena. Diego discovers that Teresa and Andrés knew Julio was alive. Isabel tries to confront Diego, while he makes an unexpected proposal.

Detective Serapio tells Julio that he already knows he is a fugitive from justice and a suspect in a murder. Isabel discovers that Diego gave her a brooch identical to the one she found in Pascual's house.

Serapio goes to the cemetery to look for Julio Olmedo's body, but discovers that there is no body in the coffin. Isabel asks Julio to talk to her, but he tells her that they should not have such a close relationship.

Serapio tells Dagoberto that he must investigate Julio in Veracruz because he has a prisoner's tattoo. Violeta is beaten by her mother, and Jacinto takes her away to save his son.

Teresa tells Ángela that she wants Belén to be her assistant and asks her to treat her well. Julio agrees to fight at Genaro's cantina so that he will give him information about Cristina.

Isabel tells Diego that she wants to get married after Sofía's child is born. Isabel obtains permission for Julio to go to the town's cantina to speak with Genaro.

Diego shoots Pascual to save Isabel. Isabel tells Julio that they should search Pascual's room to find information about Cristina.

Teresa turns Felipe over to the authorities so that Andrés can be released. Ángela finds out that Andrés is not the father of Belén's child.

Andrés is arrested after the knife used to kill Ximena is found among his belongings. Elisa meets with Dr. Santamaría to learn about Sofía's condition.

Isabel tells Julio that she read an anonymous note in Diego's office demanding money in exchange for not revealing what happened to Cristina. Detective Serapio finds the tip of a gold knife in Ximena's body and goes to investigate at the hotel.

Julio shows Isabel Cristina's bloodstained dress and tells her that he will find the person responsible. Diego receives a letter demanding money in exchange for not revealing information about Cristina.

Diego tries to burn Cristina's clothes in the kitchen, but he doesn't have time and Julio finds them. Isabel finds out that Julio is a waiter at the hotel. Andrés tells Teresa that the child Belén is expecting is his and asks her to help them.

Teresa appoints Diego as the new director of the hotel. Julio defends Felipe from the men at the cantina. Diego receives a box containing Cristina's clothes stained with blood.

Julio steals a coat and shows up with Isabel posing as a wealthy man. Julio asks Andrés about Cristina, and he tells him that she was fired for stealing and then disappeared. Teresa announces Isabel's engagement to Diego.

Teresa advises Sofía to try to please her husband or she will lose him forever. Isabel shows Diego the place where Garrido escaped.
