Series two will begin where series one left off, mid panic attack. Has Nic got away with murder? Quite possibly. Has she raised her son Ollie to follow in her murky footsteps? Kicked out of the family home for brotherly love – loving the wrong brother – Nic is reduced to sharing a caravan with her not so trustworthy best friend Jen. Nic's Husband Dan has taken up roller-blading to channel his mid-life crisis. Shunned at the school gates and cast as the witch at the school re-enactment, Nic is experiencing hallucinations. Or is someone playing tricks on her?
A death in the village re-unites Nic and Jen, much to the disapproval of Ollie, who still doesn't trust her. Dan might not be as innocent as he's made out, and some infamous youths from a nearby village pop into the shop. Just when Nic thinks everything's back on track, the net appears to tighten once again.
Sparks fly between Nic and Jen when Ollie shares a revelation he heard from Harry. Jen and Suzie appear to have their own secrets they're keeping from Nic as we get an insight into their lives and see another side to them both. Things seem to be getting back to normal between Nic and Dan as they help Ollie make a short film.
The village witch trial brings Nic and Dan together, and they confront Ollie about Mr Meowgi. Nic questions whether she should have trusted Jen again but realises she's just being paranoid. Meanwhile, Suzi appears to know more than she's letting on, and Ollie makes a shocking discovery.
Nic and Dan are worried about the effect their separation is having on Ollie so decide to try couples therapy. Dan is shocked to learn the truth about what really happened to Mr Meowgi. Dan's mum and Suzi arrive unexpectedly and interrogate Nic about her affair with Alex, pushing Nic to share a confession with Jen. Has the tarot card prediction come true?

A tarot card reading warns her of a foreboding figure in her future that could effect not only Nic but her son too.
