Urged by NuNet to make a public statement in defense of AI, Valerie contemplates her future...with or without How's That?!

Valerie tries to repair the damage caused by negative AI press -- and save Mark's reality show job by making an appearance on Finance Dudes.

As Mark heads off to Burning Man, Valerie finds herself alone amid a media meltdown after news of her AI written show is somehow leaked to the public. Later, Val is further shocked to discover that a member of her team has not signed the studio's NDA.

Faced with a new and unqualified showrunner, Valerie does everything she can to save the day and keep her show afloat - even if it means making a deal with a very familiar devil from her showbiz past...all to Jane's disapproval.

When AI churns out an unstable script, Valerie is forced to lean into her executive producer role to do damage control.

Valerie discovers that being back on a soundstage makes her miss her old sitcom team of one: Mickey – whose death she never processed. 

Valerie meets her human showrunners and tries to convince a TV vet to direct the pilot. 

Valerie is offered a role in a new multi-cam sitcom - but is hesitant to accept when she learns it will be written by AI.
