Chuck's life seems to be coming together: his long-absent father Steve has returned and he's landed his dream job with his hero Ted Roark. Unfortunately for Chuck, neither turns out to be quite what he expected.

When Chuck and Sarah go AWOL to rescue Chuck's father Steve, they discover that spending time together without any surveillance allows for unchartered chemistry. But as the two get closer, Casey zeroes in on their hidden location. Meanwhile, Morgan becomes the pariah of the Buy More after mistakenly getting Emmett promoted.
