Ömer takes out the ring and wants to put it on Zehra's finger. Alev sees them on the veranda and goes into her room all annoyed. Zehra pulls away her finger and says she cannot accept it. Ömer says why? Do you not like it? I bought it in a rush when Alev said those things so we can change it. Mentioning Alev upsets Zehra. She thinks he is just doing it to convince the family. Zehra says they already believe in our marriage, so this is not necessary and goes.

Alev begins shouting in her room. Müzeyyen comes in and warns her against her behaviour.

Later Zehra sits in the veranda and cries thinking things are not the way she had thought. Ömer was doing things only because of what Alev had said and not because he loves her. Asya comes to draw with her. Her drawing is about friends upsetting each other and one giving the other flowers to make up again. Ömer arrives and follows the story and looks at Zehra meaningfully. When Asya leaves he asks her to go out and talk. She refuses and says he has nothing to worry about. So Ömer goes and tries to prepare a surprise dinner for her at the house. Ayşe and the others are going out so he does not tell them. Ökkeş and Hediye help him prepare.

Mert comes and tells Ömer that he has taken the file to the prosecutor and thinks his father will be arrested soon. Mert also tells Ömer Zehra is the perfect match for him.

Zehra finds out about the surprise dinner and tells Ayşe and the family to return and surprise Ömer. So when he wants to take Zehra to the table, they are all there. She feels smug. Ömer is shocked. They sit. Ömer tells her why did you do this? I had prepared all this for you. Zehra feels bad and drinks water and pours it on herself. He takes her into the bedroom. He wants to talk to her but again she tries to get out of it.

In the morning, he is not there. Zehra gets up and Ömer is not in bed. She begins discreetly looking for him. She calls Leyla and asks her to come and visit. She is in the bedroom thinking when suddenly Ömer comes in with his white jacket and bright outfit. He says I had put the ring in your drawer. She says I know. He takes her hand and says shall I put it on for you?

Zehra is excited about the confirmation that Ömer has truly bought the ring for her and that he loves her. She runs to the bedroom. Asya comes and shows her the new ring Ömer has bought for her. Zehra muses on how her uncle knows how to buy beautiful rings. Asya tells her to put on her ring as well. She becomes jittery and when Ömer comes in she quickly takes Asya to the living room. The ladies in the living room admire Asya's ring and then Asya tells them that Ömer has also bought one for Zehra. Zehra has to now show it to them. She says it was a bit loose, so it has been sent to be resized.

Ömer tells himself that this time he will give it to her under perfect circumstances. Ömer goes and takes it from her drawer and puts it in the study to set up the big occasion. But he feels it is so difficult and hopes for some indication from Zehra to make it easy. Zehra goes to the room and realizes the ring is not there and is exasperated. She begins looking for it everywhere and everytime Ömer sees her during her efforts she tries to hide her purpose. The scenes become very comical.

Mert tells Ömer that he is going to be a witness against his father. Alev keeps trying to find out what is happening to Hilmi Yilmaz. She tries to talk with her aunt and tell her that if she is accused of anything wrong, her intentions have always been to protect Ömer against Zehra. Müzeyyen is upset and tells her to go and fix whatever it is she has done or else Ömer would not let her continue living in that house. Alev gets a call from Hilmi Yilmaz's lawyer that if his client is caught, he will make sure that she is also arrested.

Zehra takes tea to the study and pours it, in an alleged accident, on Ömer so he has to leave the study to change. She then looks through the drawers and finds the ring and takes it. In the morning she wakes up early and goes and shows the ladies her ring. She then goes quickly to put it back. While she is putting it back, Ömer walks into the study and sees her. She is caught. Ömer is happy. He asks her to get Hediye to serve breakfast earlier since he is very hungry. She leaves without any further explanations.

Mert goes to court and finally comes with the news that his father has been found guilty. Alev hears it and is horrified. She goes home. Nihat is keeping an eye on her and lets Ömer know about her moves.

Zehra goes to Ömer and says she wants to talk. Ömer says I have something to tell you too. They go in the study but before they start Alev comes in and asks to talk with Ömer about something important. Ömer wants to refuse but Zehra leaves. Alev tells him she wants to talk about the two of them and how things were before Zehra came into their lives. Ömer stops her and says Zehra is my wife and I forbid you to talk about her. When Alev wants to tell him about her love for him, he stops her and says I do not want to hear any of that. There has never been anything like that in the past or any other time.

Zehra hears Ömer and shines with the further confirmation of Ömer's love for herself.
