Set in the year 1844, Miracle Workers: Oregon Trail follows an idealistic small-town preacher who teams up with a wanted outlaw and an adventurous prairie wife to lead a wagon train west on the Oregon Trail across an American landscape which, much like today, is fraught with both promise and peril.
Miracle Workers: Dark Ages centers upon a group of medieval villagers trying to stay positive in an age of extreme income inequality, poor healthcare, and widespread ignorance.
The first season is a Heaven-set workplace comedy based on Simon Rich's book What in God's Name. Daniel Radcliffe plays Craig, a low-level angel responsible for handling all of humanity's prayers, and Steve Buscemi plays Craig's boss God, who has pretty much checked out and is ready to move on to his next project. To prevent Earth's destruction, Craig and fellow angel Eliza must answer a seemingly impossible prayer: help two humans fall in love.
