Marcello escapes from the hospital. After going to see Sophia he goes to Cruz's houseboat to see what evidence Cruz has on Channing's murder. Eden comes home and he attacks her. Cruz surprises Mason searching Marcello's apartment. Christie moves in with Laken. Jack Lee is furious that no one can find Brick and Amy.

At the hospital, Cruz places Marcello under guard, and Marcello says he doesn't remember what he told Cruz about the murder. Brick realises he and Amy are being followed. Mason and Gina have sex in the ambulance, and he later realises that her signature on the documents isn't valid. He then goes to try and find something at Marcello's apartment before Cruz can get there. Nick learns about Kelly's past.

The fake Jack Lee visits Augusta and pretends to woo her. At the hotel, everyone has to run through the fire and escape down a ladder. Brick takes Amy to visit his mother, but Jack Lee's men discover him. In the hotel lobby, a weak Marcello tells Cruz something shocking about Channing's murder before passing out.

Marcello manages to warn the wedding party about the fire, but it's too late, and they're trapped.  Cruz makes plans for everyone to get out safely. Mason and Gina make their way up to the wedding through the fire.

Kelly gets into the lift with CC which is taking him down to the basement where he'll be killed by Marcello's rigged machine gun. Marcello runs down, followed by Sophia, and manages to save Kelly and CC. Security arrests Marcello and the others go back to Eden's wedding. But after they leave, the basement catches fire. Mason and Gina continue to argue about whether they should do the deed first or sign the papers first.

It's Cruz and Eden's wedding day. Both are afraid the other won't show up at the wedding. Mason invites Gina to a hotel room so they can finally make love and sign the papers. Marcello prepares to murder CC.

Santana saves Brandon from the roof. Marcello continues to plan to murder CC on Cruz and Eden's wedding day. Julia accosts the imposter Jack Lee, who doesn't know who she is.

Kelly recognises Jack Lee, but when she confronts him he convinces her it wasn't him she saw at the house. He tries to call off the assassin. Brandon takes some of Gina's sleeping pills and then falls asleep on the roof of the Capwell Mansion while Gina is out meeting Mason.

Santana finds out Channing was gay.

Nick realises the assassin is about to shoot Kelly, and tackles her. She runs up to the roof where they struggle, and she falls to her death through the glass ceiling of the restaurant. Jade meets a girl called Christy. Mason plans to show Santana the proof that Channing was gay.

It's the opening night of the Orient Express restaurant. The assassin is there to kill Kelly, and Marcello is acting strangely. Maggie follows him down to the hotel basement, but loses him.

Sophia tells Eden and Cruz that she doesn't trust marcello. Later he follows and threatens her. Lionel announces he's moving back into the lockridge mansion, much to Julia's annoyance. Mason and Gina meet at a hotel so he can impregnate her. Mr Lee is furious that Brick has taken Amy out of town secretly.

CC agrees to offer Maggie a settlement of one million dollars, but she refuses and wants to take Capwell enterprises to court. Cruz tells Sophia about Marcello being in the country when Channing died. Marcello plans the explosion which will kill CC. Eden plans an engagement party. Kelly and Marcello spend time together. Jack Lee and the other mysterious man tell Amy's doctor that he needs to induce the birth in two days. Brick is suspicious and plans to get Amy out of town.

Cruz confronts Marcello about being at the Capwell mansion when Channing died. Mason blackmails Gina to force her to agree to let him impregnate her, so that she can pass the baby off as CC's.

Mason sees Gina's pregnancy test turn positive, and tampers with it so she thinks it was negative. Cruz interviews Sophia about Channing's death, and discovers Marcello came into the country right before the murder. Lionel discovers Augusta is blind.

Augusta realises she's blind, and calls her sister Julia. Ted and Mason fight about the videotape of Channing. Cruz's mother is furious to find out that Cruz and Eden are engaged, while Sophia is thrilled. Mason finds Gina's pregnancy test in his old bathroom, and hides to find out whose it is. Jackie's husband is confirmed dead.

Eden and Cruz are engaged. CC is shocked when Eden tells him. Nick goes to Cruz to tell him about the woman with the gun in his photo of Kelly. All his photos and negatives are stolen, so he goes to Kelly to warn her. Kelly is afraid and won't believe him. Marcello plans to murder CC on the yacht on the anniversary of his parents' death, 20th May. Cruz and Eden set the same date for their wedding. Jackie's husband is missing in action.

Ted sees the video of mason revealing Channing was gay. Gina tells CC that Eden told her about Brandon, and cc is furious. Eden sends Cruz on a treasure hunt, winding up at a romantic clearing in the woods, where she asks him to marry her.

Eden finds Cruz, Santana and Augusta. Everyone is rushed to hospital and Cruz questions Augusta about why she was in the tunnel. Cruz and Maggie realise that anybody could have set the explosion and have been able to escape by the gazebo entrance. Eden realises that she does want to marry Cruz.

Gina and ted are rescued. Hank is dead. Kelly takes Brandon to the park and he goes missing. The mysterious woman whose parcel Kelly had is trying to kill her. Mr Lee and the other man who wants Kelly dead discuss needing to bring on the birth of Amy's baby sooner than expected.

Cruz, Santana, Ted and Gina are trapped in the cave-in. Augusta is also missing. The Capwells and Lockridges band together to help dig out the tunnel, but the fire chief tells them there is little hope.

Santana returns to see Brandon in secret. Cruz calls a meeting of everyone who might have killed Channing. Kelly delivers the package from her suitcase, and the recipient acts very strangely. Mr Lee is there too, and they worry that Kelly recognised him. Brick asks Cruz to look into Jeff's murder. Mason sets the video of himself revealing that Channing was gay in CC's bedroom. Ted overhears Gina talking with hank about the pills, and follows her down into the tunnel. Someone sets a bomb in the tunnel. Hank and ted struggle for the gun, and when it goes off Cruz rushes into the tunnel, followed by Santana. The explosion goes off.

Marcello tells the whole story of his childhood in the war, and CC. Cruz asks Mason, warren, and the rest of the Capwells to meet him the next day to discuss Channing's murder. He then goes to spend the night in the tunnel. Marcello pretends to forgive CC, but his hatred is still there. Gina keeps trying to get pregnant so CC won't know she was never pregnant when she told him she was. Maggie and Warren kiss. The mysterious woman searches for Kelly to get her package back.

CC offers Maggie a settlement and she rejects it. Cruz tells Eden he's reopened Channing's murder case. Brick finds blood on jeffs phone, and the place cleaned out. He then receives a mysterious phonecall telling him to search through a trash can. In it, Brick is horrified to find Jeff's body parts.

Eden sets it up so Marcello and CC spend time together, with Sophia there too. Eden makes CC tell everyone about his war experience, and it comes out that marcello was the boy CC gave his dog tags to.

Mason records a video telling CC about Channing and Lindsey. At the airport a strange woman with the same bag as Kelly expects a parcel in her bag, but it ends up in Kelly's instead.

Cruz questions Sophia about Marcello's past. Mason blackmails Lindsay into helping him on Maggie's case. Jeff calls Brick and says he knows who the father of Amy's baby is, and is attacked during the conversation. Brick goes to San Francisco to see what happened. Gina tells Rosa she knows she's Brandon's grandmother. Eden returns the ring to the ring box, and Cruz then throws the box overboard while secreting the ring away. Eden jumps in after it. Mason proposes that Capwell enterprises pay Maggie 20 million dollars.

Cruz makes a list of suspects in Channing's murder. Mason interrogates Lindsay, who gives him the key to a secret room off the tunnel. Hank forces Gina to give him even more money for her pills. Marcello knows Eden stole CC's dogtags from his room, and forces her to give them back. Mason finds photos of Channing and Lindsay in the secret room. Mason continues to work on maggie's husband's lawsuit against CC. Marcello threatens Eden when she says she'll find out why he's obsessed with CC. Hank rapes Gina after she tries to steal the pills from him.

Mason finds out that Channing was gay. Gina asks Hank if he can help her get pills. He asks for a few thousand dollars. Maggie asks Mason if he'll take her husband's case against Capwell enterprises. Marcello visits Kelly and is incredibly creepy. Eden is shocked to find him there.

Cruz questions Minx about the tunnel. Eden and Cruz fight about her telling Gina about Brandon, and she flushes the engagement ring down the toilet. Mason sets it up so Augusta can spy on Lionel. Someone breaks into Cruz's boathouse, and when Mason arrives he finds the love letter from Lindsay to Channing. CC asks Eden to go bring Kelly home from Bermuda. Kelly invites Marcello there. Gina struggles with her pill addiction.

Cruz won't let Eden say no to his proposal. CC is livid about ted and Jackie getting arrested. Rumours circulate that ted and Jackie are involved. CC plans to demolish the secret tunnel, and Cruz and Maggie need to stop it to protect the investigation into Channing's death. Eden and Gina clash. Augusta has another date with Jack Lee. Eden tells Gina about Brandon being Channing's son.

Cruz tells Eden that Brandon is Channing's son. She decides to stay for the wedding. Ted and Jackie are held at the police station. CC and Gina are finally married, but Gina collapses right after. Gina still hasn't told CC she isn't pregnant, and she's becoming addicted to her pills. Cruz asks Eden to marry him.

Eden gets angry at Cruz when he notices the gun is missing, and then at her father for being about to marry Gina, and for grooming Brandon. CC sends the police over to arrest the prostitutes at masons apartment. Ted and Jackie get arrested too. Amy is confused that she still hasn't met Mr Lee.

Somebody breaks into the capwell study and steals the gun used to kill Channing. Mason offers to get both Sophia and Augusta a restraining order against Lionel. Gina steals painkillers from the hospital. The doctor tells her she was never pregnant. Cruz and Eden argue about Marcello. Cruz tells Rosa he plans to propose.

Cruz has an engagement ring for Eden. Eden works on the business merger with Marcelo. Ted moves out of the mansion and into Kelly's apartment with mason. CC flies to Haiti to get the divorce from Sophia.

Gina regains consciousness. Sophia tells CC she doesn't know if she wants to divorce him or not. Mason encourages both Sophia and Gina to fight for CC.

Lindsay smith realises that Maggie is a cop spying on him. Hank gets CC to meet him so he can tell him about Gina's past. Lionel desperately tries to get Augusta back.

Marcello threatens Eden after finding out she was faking being hypnotised. CC tells mason he'll pay him the 18000 to tell him about finals past with hank. Gina quickly makes up a story that mason attached her. CC believes Gina and refuses to pay mason. Gina then tells CC she's pregnant so he doesn't leave her.

When mason tells ginger he doesn't have the money, he takes a job as her lawyer. Cruz grows more suspicious of marcello.

Mason sets up shop in the Bistro and asks Gina for the money he owes Ginger in exchange for keeping quiet about her past. Minx warns Sophia to stay away from her family. Cruz gets Maggie to move in next door to Lindsey smith to keep an eye on him. Marcello tells Eden he knows she was faking being hypnotised.

Mason has the jeweller cut the diamond, but it shatters and he loses all his money. Eden asks CC not to interfere in her relationship with Cruz. Cruz questions Lindsay smith, surprised he's a man. Lionel asks for Ted's help in getting Laken back on his side. CC offers to pay Mason for his information on hank Judson, but Mason refuses. Cruz is sure Lindsay is lying to him about Channing. After he leaves, Channing burns some letters.

Eden brings Marcello some of CC's war records and agrees to let him hypnotise her again. Kelly goes to Bermuda to get away from the family fighting about Sophia.

Ginger Jones comes back to town. Mason steals the real puzzle box from Lionel. Eden tells Cruz that marcello asked her (under fake hypnosis) to look through her father's war papers. Cruz asks Maggie to find the Lindsay Smith from Channing's love letter.

Mason needs a loan from Ginger to pay a diamond-cutter to cut the diamond he found in the puzzle box. Maggie thwarts a robbery at the bistro.

Mason is hired to work on Peter's will. Someone sends the funeral parlour a headstone in peter's real name. Warren decides to buy a newspaper company.

Cruz and Eden make love in the tunnel. Eden remembers that Marcelo hypnotised her to steal her father's war medal. She lets him hypnotise her again to find out what he's up to.

Any gets offered a job by a mysterious Mr Stan Lee. Cruz and Eden argue about whether Cruz really meant the proposal or not. Cruz's mother speaks to CC about breaking up Cruz and Eden.

Cruz's mother comes to town and disapproves of Eden. Cruz gets Eden to admit she loves him and then asks her to marry him in front of everyone at the hotel. Brick moves in with the Perkins'. Mason gets the puzzle box from Lionel and smashes it open, disappointed that there's only a piece of rock inside. Lionelmeabwhild had had s copy made.

Sophia gets Marcello to explain to Eden and Ted where she was for the last 15 years. Lionel and CC taunt each other in the tunnel about their failed lives.

CC finds the tunnel and follows Lionel. All the Capwells and Lockridges find out about the tunnel. Sophia goes in through the Capwell study entrance to warn Lionel. Eden refuses to believe Sophia and Lionel haven't been seeing each other all this time.

CC goes after Lionel. Gina tells Hank she won't be blackmailed by him. Ted assumes that Sophia and Lionel have been seeing each other all this time, and tells Sophia to leave town. Lionel escapes from CC through the basement.

CC finally finds out Sophia is alive, and confronts her. He and Augusta hear part of Sophia and Lionels conversation, and mistakenly assume that they've been having an affair the whole time Sophia was "missing".

Mason manages to stop CC and Gina's second wedding attempt. Warren tells Augusta about the two way mirror, and she takes CC there to reveal Sophia to him.

Kelly, Eden and Ted argue about whether to tell CC about Sophia before he marries Gina. Mason manages to delay the wedding by a few hours. He plots with Lionel and Augusta to stop the wedding. Hank blackmails Gina. Sophia goes to the house to talk to her children, thinking Gina isn't there, but Gina sees her.

Marcello realises that Kelly is blaming herself for her mother's death, and tells Sophia she must reveal herself to Kelly. Meanwhile Mason has come to Sophia to ask her to stop CC and Gina getting married. He tells her that Brandon is her grandson but doesn't manage to get any further. Amy's Doctor (hired by Jeff) questions her closely about Brick and her relationship.

Sophia sneaks into the Lockridge house and uses a secret tunnel to get to the Capwell mansion. Lionel follows her. Sophia reveals herself to Kelly in the gazebo.

Mason asks everyone he knows for money, but thanks to CC everyone refuses. Everyone is really worried about Kelly's mental state. She's obsessing over a doll she broke as a child. Brick pretends to be Amy's husband to help her get a job. Marcello hypnotises Kelly, and she recalls the day her mother disappeared.

Mason stops the wedding by announcing that CC never had Sophia declared dead. In retaliation, CC has Mason fired, and uses his influence to make sure he can't get a job. Ted talks to Sophia and is thrilled she's back. Mason bursts into CC's bedroom with a sword and threatens to tell Gina just why CC is so interested in Brandon.

CC and Mason come to blows, but CC allows Mason to attend the wedding while threatening his future if he does anything to stop it. Ted confronts Eden about Sophia being alive (and finds out about her and Cruz being involved). Ted skips the wedding to go and find his mother. Mason interrupts the wedding.

It's the morning of Gina and CC's wedding. Lionel tells mason that Sophia isn't leaving, and Mason goes to Gina to make her invite him to the wedding. Mason tells Lionel that he wants the Chinese puzzle box from the shipwreck if he manages to stop the wedding.

Augusta tells Laken that Sophia is alive, and Lionel tells Minx.

Laken doesn't realise that ted doesn't know that Sophia is alive, and tells him.

Augusta confronts Sophia. CC tells Kelly and Eden that he's marrying Gina the next day. CC and Eden have a fight when he refuses to listen to her business suggestions. Augusta and Sophia come to blows over Lionel, and Augusta is knocked unconscious. Warren asks Maggie out. Cruz and Eden grow closer. Sophia tells Lionel she's staying in town after all.

Lionel finds out that Brick has been controlling the Lockridge money. Mason, Eden and Lionel tell Sophia she needs to leave town. Augusta has some men kidnap Sophia when she leaves the hotel. Amy gets a new specialist, presumably organised by Jeff.

After Joe's funeral, Cruz comforts Kelly, and Eden is jealous. Amy's ex, Jeff, comes back to insist he can't be the father of her baby because he's sterile.

Sophia reveals herself to Mason, but he refuses to help her see Kelly. Marcello hypnotises Kelly to trust him more than her family. He sets up a meeting with her at the hotel. Gina continues to be concerned about Hank coming after her before she marries CC. Eden is still suspicious of Marcello helping Kelly. Gina talks CC into moving up their wedding. Marcello has a grudge against CC dating back to his childhood in wwII.

Joe dies, and Kelly is furious that no one told her how serious his condition was. Eden continues to mistrust Marcello's motives in helping Kelly, though she can't remember why she dislikes him so much. Desperate to see Kelly, Sophia is about to reveal her identity to mason.

Peter shoots joe. Cruz and the police rush the house as Peter tries to strangle Kelly. Cruz kills Peter. Joe's condition is serious.

The police continue to try to get joe safely out of the house. Kelly finds a gun and sneaks into the house. She tries to shoot Peter but the gun isn't loaded.

Jackie's husband pretends to be dead. Peter releases Amy. One of the police officers volunteers to pretend to be Kelly and draw Peter out of the house.

Warren demands to know why Minx has Brick doing the family finances.

Peter shoots the fake kelly. Everyone manages to escape except Joe.

Peter holds Amy hostage and makes her cancel as many of the party guests as she can. Augusta asks her lawyer cryptic questions about if dead wives who turn up alive have any claims in their husband's assets. Mason realises CC never declared Sophia dead. Jackie and Mason arrive at the party and are taken hostage by Peter.

Amy tries to call Gina and when Cruz answers she keeps calling him Gina to alert him that something is wrong.

The body in the morgue isn't Peter. Peter goes to Kelly's apartment and overhears that there's a party at Amy's for joe and Kelly. He goes there and holds Amy at gunpoint. Augusta talks more to the contessa, convinced she's Sophia.

Lionel tells Sophia that he's been proven innocent. Augusta sends Sophia a message anonymously to set up a meeting. Warren comes home.

The extra bit added to the end of Peter's suicide note confessed to murdering Channing. Lionel is released from jail. Augusta continues to be suspicious of the contessa, finally realising that she might be Sophia.

Kelly is released from hospital. Peter comes back to town and gets things from his apartment. Cruz and Eden finally have sex. Augusta sees "Suzanne" visiting Lionel, and discovers she's the contessa. Peter leaves a suicide note, but decides not to kill himself. But later someone comes to the apartment and adds more to it.

Joe finds Kelly in the desert. Lionel explains to Sophia that he was trapped in Channing's bedroom the night of the murder. Mason goes to visit "The Contessa" to find out who she is. Mine and Brick argue about why she knows so much about him. When he's out of earshot, minx says she loves him. Peter escapes and gets a lift from a passing truck.

Mason is suspicious of "Suzanne" when he finds out that a phone call she made to him came from the presidential suite. Sophia confronts Lionel in jail that she saw him in the study, but he denies it. Mason arrives and is even more suspicious. Peter chases Kelly through the desert, but she manages to rig an explosion in an abandoned car to try and kill him. Amy decides not to have the surgery.

Warren sends Sophia a note, asking her to meet him at the motel she and Lionel used to frequent. Kelly stabs Peter in the leg and escapes. Amy has to decide whether or not to have the surgery that might kill her baby. Sophia tells Warren she saw Lionel in the study when Channing was killed.

The police find peter's car and a manhunt begins. Kelly plays along with Peter while waiting for an opportunity to stab him. Elizabeth continues to help Warren by bringing him food at his hide-out. Mason is suspicious of Suzanne (Sophia) when she can't hide how upset she is at Kelly's disappearance.

Peter takes Kelly to a house in the desert. She manages to call joe and tell him. Cruz and Eden kiss again, and she tells him Sophia is alive. They fly down to be with Joe. Amy's doctor tells her she needs surgery or she might lose the baby.

Elizabeth helps Warren escape from Mason and the police. Peter accosts Kelly while Joe is out, and gives her a carnation. Amy tells Jeff, the baby's father, to get out of her life when he shows up unexpectedly.

Warren tries to leave town. Peter passes a lie detector test. Cruz changes Joe and Kelly's honeymoon destination, but Peter overhears the details.

Eden tells CC she'll never support his marriage to Gina. Mason tells CC that Lionel murdered Sophia. Peter invites a prostitute up to his room, dresses her up as Kelly, and then kills her. Joe and Kelly, in their room, hear the screams but arrive too late.

Sophia finally tells Eden about Lionel trying to kill her, and her subsequent amnesia. Peter waits outside the wedding reception and then at the hotel for Kelly to arrive. CC announces that he and Gina are engaged.

Sophia comes to the wedding dresses as the journalist. Eden tries to make her leave. Mason arrives drunk. Kelly finds more carnations inside the book she's meant to read from during the ceremony. Despite this, the wedding continues - while Peter watches secretly from the balcony.

Eden refuses to listen to Sophia's excuses. Peter shows up to give Kelly a gift.

Kelly and Joe get ready for their wedding that afternoon. Peter sends Kelly carnations and leaves more in the church dressing room. Eden confronts the journalist Sophia is posing as, and pulls off her wig and recognises her.

Cruz and mason realise that Peter recorded the murder and played it back later. Cruz finds Veronica's tape player in Peters house. Kelly and Joe rehearse for their wedding. Mason questions Warren and realises that Lionel is indeed being set up for channing's murder.

Peter's alibi from the cinema holds up, and the police release him. Ted rushes to tell mason that the tuxedo with the bloody note was warren's, not lionel's. Warren spies on Sophia through the two-way mirror and hears her confess to framing Lionel for Channing's murder. Peter breaks into Kelly's apartment and leaves a white carnation.

Peter murders Veronica. Realising she recorded it, he takes the tape and plays it over the phone to Mason. Lionel tells Warren Sophia is still alive, and asks him to follow her. Peter makes sure Amy, Brick and Marisa see him in the movie theatre. Mason and Cruz find Veronica.

Eden is released from hospital. Sophia, posing as the journalist, asks her more questions about CC and Sophia. Veronica mentions to Peter that she saw him at La Mesa the night the waitress was killed. Worried that she knows he's the killer, he goes over to her apartment and gives her a carnation.

Cruz finds Eden. Peter talks to Kelly at the restaurant, telling her he still fantasises about her. Lionel explains to Ted and Laken what happened on the day Sophia died. Detective monroe questions Peter. Eden can't remember anything about her attacker.

Eden regains consciousness and tries to go for help. Peter tracks her after erasing her "help" message. Cruz is angry at Kelly and Joe when they try to help prove Peter is the killer. Elizabeth throws herself at Brick.

Mason discovers Lionel in Veronica's apartment. Peter tries to figure out if he's the carnation killer. Joe suspects Peter, and confronts him in his apartment. He takes Peters bloody shirt.

When Cruz finds out Eden is missing, he joins the police task force. Peter takes Eden far into the countryside, still convinced she's Kelly. Lionel knows the contessa is Sophia, and surprises her in the presidential suite. Eden struggles with Peter and falls down a hill.

Gina and CC have sex. Joe goes out of town, but he asks CC to get the police to watch her. Peter sets it up so Kelly comes to a warehouse, but she sends Eden instead. Peter hits her over the head, ties her up, and kidnaps her. Kelly finds out about the setup and calls the police. Sophia, posing as a reporter, "interviews" Kelly about CC.

It's Summer's memorial service. Peter sneaks in and hides, confused about what he did. Detective monroe asks Cruz to help him on the carnation killer case. Mason, Warren and the detective confront Hank, but he has an alibi for summer's murder. Joe wants Kelly to quit her waitressing job, but she refuses. Cruz tells Eden he might want to go back to being a cop.

Sophia, dressed as a homeless woman, talks to Ted on the beach to find out what he thinks of her. He tells her his mother was having an affair. Mason and the detective go to LA to look for Hank Judson.

Lionel is hiding out at Veronica's. Gina thinks Hank, who raped Summer years ago, might be the person who killed her. Sophia arrives back in Santa Barbara, disguised as the Contessa Armonti.

Warren finds Summer's body, and has to break the news to Gina. Lionel calls to say he's all right. Joe agrees to CC throwing him and Kelly a wedding. Ted and Laken come home. Kelly realises she was the last person to see both of the murdered girls. Mason finds out that Lionel was with Sophia when she died, and jumps to the conclusion that Lionel murdered her as well as Channing.

Peters doctor tells him he has a life-threatening brain aneurysm. He follows Kelly to a bar, but sees Summer and fixates on her. He tricks her into coming with him, and gives her a carnation.

Cruz revives Eden and they kiss. Lionel holds Sophia on the train again. Mason talks to Summer about the Lockridge case. Cruz and Eden find the desk from the ship. The police are after Lionel on the train. CC offers Joe a job.

Peter wakes up with no memory of murdering the waitress. Lionel is picked up by a travelling circus and manages to get back on the train. Ted and Laken run away together. Peter realises he's the murderer, and destroys the scarf he strangled the waitress with.

Eden and Cruz go diving to the wreck, and Eden has an accident.

A tramp steals Lionel's clothes and wallet as he lies unconscious near the railway. Marcello begs Sophia to return home with him, but she is reluctant to leave her children. Eden and Cruz strike a deal to hunt for the missing emerald together. Peter imagines that the waitress at La Mesa is Kelly, and he returns and kills her.

Peter is released from hospital, despite the doctor's worries about his blackouts. He's immediately obsessed with seeing Kelly.

Sophia admits she set Lionel up for Channing's murder because she thinks he tried to kill her. Augusta tells Laken about Lionel's affair with Sophia.

Lionel ties Sophia up in his compartment, but when Marcello arrives he and Lionel fight, and he pushes Lionel from the train.

Lionel hunts for Dominic on the train. Sophia has flashbacks to how afraid she was of Lionel, and the night he tried to kill her. Gina tries to find out more about Sophia from Rosa. Amy has an old friend come visit. CC and Rosa discuss Sophia, and he tells her he suspects the affair was real. Sophia tries to stab Lionel and he finally sees and recognises her.

Eden tries to get CC to fire Cruz. Mason tells Ted about Lionel and Sophia's affair. Eden lies and says she doesn't believe it. Lionel follows Dominic and accosts him; he gets away, but Lionel sees the women's clothes in the suitcase. He follows Dominic onto a train. Mason tries to prove that CC and Sophia had an unhappy marriage, driving her into Lionel's arms. Lionel confronts Dominic and he jumps from the train.

Augusta and Lionel figure out that the note was planted in Warren's tux when the house was broken into. Sophia decides to "retire" Dominic. Joe takes Kelly to the hospital to find out why she's getting headaches. Cruz tries to get the slides back from Eden, she resists, and he steals them back. When she tries again to get them back he kisses her to distract her.
