A reflective retelling of Ichigo Kurosaki's early encounters with Hollows and the tragic memory of his mother's death. This OVA focuses on Ichigo's emotional turmoil as he struggles with guilt over not being able to protect his mother and how it shapes his resolve to become stronger. While emotionally powerful, most of the footage is reused from the TV series, edited together for a special event screening.
