The plot surrounds the several perspectives of mothers with different statuses whose lives revolve around accompanying/staying by their kids throughout their schooling period. Stories of relationships, sacrifice and growth told through the lenses of parent-child, family and love. Li Na is an accomplished career woman who runs her own cosmetics company but because her son who is an exchange student in Canada keeps running into trouble, she is forced to drop everything for his sake. Despite her husband's Ding Zhiyuan's objections, Li Na flies to Canada to be a full-time tutor mom, yet finds that with it comes many unforeseen consequences at work and at home. Li Na's relationship with her rebellious son has only worsened and just when she feels a loss on what to do, she meets other moms like Hu Yuanyuan, Xia Tian and Chen Lili who becomes her constant source of support.
