The first hosts in Exeter, Dan and Luke, risk it all with their fried chicken fare at Eat the Bird. Rachel and Darren from The Lord Nelson Inn gun for the prize with a menu of their favourite flavours, including two Asian-inspired dishes and on the final night, Simon and Theo from The Puffing Billy flex their foodie muscles with some elevated pub classics.

Professional chefs battle it out in the kitchen for a £1,000 prize. On the first night in Sheffield, head chef Monica and front of house manager Katrina at Sicilian restaurant Bella Donna serve up serious seafood and breaded beef. Next up, Fraser and Karine try to impress their guests at their American smokehouse, Backyard BBQ. Finally, trendy Harry and Yav host at Mexican restaurant Piña. Sensitive eater Karine struggles with the spice, while barbecuer Fraser lives up to his messy-eater reputation.
