Having miraculously survived a fall from the 20th floor, car dealership manager Fyodor Yartsev acquires an unusual gift: now he sees ghosts. A vindictive mother—in-law and a physical education teacher at school, a bandit from the nineties and an elderly intellectual woman - who just won't bother Fedor with their unfinished business. Among the spirits he is trying to help is his own father, who disappeared at the age of 20. So the main character got a chance not only to get to know him, but also to establish a relationship. The protagonist has always been interested in finding out what his own dad was like.
Margarita Semyonovna cannot ascend to heaven because of her immense guilt towards her husband. She claims that she drove him when she persuaded him to teach her how to drive. He started swearing, started drinking, and could barely contain his emotions. Margarita died during one of these driving lessons because she did not fasten her seat belt, and her husband ended up in prison.
Masha continues to be friends with Shalin and cannot understand what he really wants from her. Fyodor wants to help Margarita go to her husband, but he doesn't want to forgive her in any way. When Fyodor went to get vodka, his mother-in-law appeared to him, who claims that she is now his guardian angel. Later, Fedor meets a famous actor who makes him a tempting offer.
Every day now, different ghosts come to the main character who need help. The protagonist realizes that he can't just forget about the incident, because now his life will never be the same. He accepted his fate, realizing that he was doomed to do his duty, even if he didn't like it at all, because others were counting on him and hoping for him.

He was constantly harassed by various ghosts who needed help. They knew perfectly well that Fedor was a guide, which meant that only he could help them find the long-awaited peace, as well as leave the world of the living.
One day it happened that the main character fell from a very high altitude. Any other person in his place would most likely have died, but Fyodor managed to survive. In addition, after this event, he acquired very unusual abilities. Now he could see real spirits and even talk to them. However, the man soon realized that he had received not a gift, but a curse.
The plot tells about the fate of an ordinary man named Fedor Yartsev. The protagonist worked at a car dealership as a manager and wasn't really going to change anything. For a long time, he lived a completely ordinary life, which was no different from the lives of other people. However, suddenly everything changed dramatically, because he had experienced a very big shock.
In the center of the plot is the sweet and charming Olga Dudkina, who works in a taxi. The real angel Kostya falls in love with her and persuades heaven to send him back to earth. Dudkina gets the ability, like Kostya, to see the restless souls of the dead, and together they begin to help correct the mistakes of the past.
Among the "clients" are an oligarch guilty of raising his son, someone's annoying neighbor who drills day and night, and even Dantes. The problem is that all the temptations of the modern world are falling on Kostya at once. And instead of accepting angel's attentions, Dudkina has to fight to keep him from going to hell.
