Nadine, who secretly meets the lawyer Pierre Sigouin at the restaurant, is surprised to find Patrick there in the company of Sophie Marchand. Having read information provided by Laurent, journalist Jean Brière asks Nadine to meet him. She comes to the meeting with Chiasson, who wants to help her manage this crisis. He also encourages her to finish as soon as possible her detailed report on the Michel David affair and in particular on the meetings she had with him.
