"Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty 3: To Changan" is a historical suspense anthology drama and the third installment of the "Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty" series. 

Set in the summer and autumn of the second year of Xiantian, though the emperor has ascended the throne, the Grand Princess wields even greater influence, leaving Chang'an's political situation in constant turmoil. Lu Lingfeng and Su Wuming, under imperial orders, return to Chang'an with an investigative team consisting of Pei Xijun, Fei Jishi, Yingtao, and Xue Huan, under the guise of escorting the golden peach tribute from the Kingdom of Kang. In bustling Chang'an, Lu Lingfeng resumes his post as Judicial Officer of Yongzhou, while Su Wuming is granted a special position. Fei Jishi is made shopkeeper of the Sushan Inn, which is secretly established as the city's intelligence hub. Together, Lu and Su implement new measures, launching a "citywide investigation model," delving into the neighborhoods of Chang'an to engage with the people, while steering clear of the emperor and Grand Princess's power struggle. Through a series of strange cases like the golden peach of Kang, the wails at Chengfo Temple, sightings of Bai Ze, the tail-eating serpent, the Jieyou shop, and more, the storm in Chang'an eventually converges upon the politically charged "Grand Polo Case." Lu Lingfeng and Su Wuming are forced to face this autumn of blades and shadows, as well as their own destinies, paying a heavy price. Yet, despite the trials, their original vow to protect the people of Chang'an in the grand flourishing Tang remains unshaken.
