The host explores Ireland's Ancient East. Starting in Boyne Valley, Adrian delves into the area's 5,000 year-long history, before meeting chef Richard Corrigan at Virginia Park Lodge, the 18th century estate set amidst 100 acres of stunning grounds. Next, he heads to Howth to meet artist Jim Fitzpatrick, and later boards the Dart train for a picturesque journey around the captivating coast, before hopping on a bike to cycle across the impressive Kilmacthomas Viaduct.
Adrian Dunbar explores some of his favourite places in his homeland of Ireland, sharing his passion for the country's food, history, and scenery. In the first episode, Adrian's journey starts at a place that holds many memories for him, the highest accessible Seacliff's in the whole of Europe - Slieve league on the Wild Atlantic way in Co Donegal. Later, he makes it to his hometown of Fermanagh, where he visits a 6th century island monastery, only accessibly by boat.
