In the aftermath of Terese's discovery of Brad and Lauren's night together, the scandal blows wide open as Terese angrily informs all of their kids. Returning from their camping trip, they arrive just in time to witness Brad and Terese in a stand-off. Trying to keep a lid on their simmering issues, the parents have a sit-down with Joshua and Imogen where Brad haltingly explains what happened.

After slamming on the brakes and fearing she hit Nell, Sonya is relieved to see her daughter is safe – but it could have been a lot worse. Wanting to protect Toadie, she tells him that Nell was never in any danger and Toadie is relieved. But when a determined Toadie regains his independence by wheeling himself outside he sees Nell"s ball and grows suspicious.
