After slamming on the brakes and fearing she hit Nell, Sonya is relieved to see her daughter is safe – but it could have been a lot worse. Wanting to protect Toadie, she tells him that Nell was never in any danger and Toadie is relieved. But when a determined Toadie regains his independence by wheeling himself outside he sees Nell"s ball and grows suspicious.

After walking out on Terese and Imogen for their negative talk about Brad, Josh asks Courtney for a place to stay. Courtney happily agrees, but begins to regret it when Josh's incessant talk about his family troubles starts to drag her down. When she realises that Josh has moved out of home, she promptly ends the relationship – the fun they had is over.
