The two neighbors are no longer alone but not exactly together yet. Life keeps surprising them and they have to deal with it - that's how it is...

He left a twenty year marriage and two children. Alone in his new apartment, he decides to commit suicide. Swallowing a cabinet full of medicine, he waits to die. He is  quickly disrupted by a stubborn, persistent ringing at the door. His neighbor is in the midst of a heart attack and asks him to wait with her until the ambulance arrives. The paramedics end up having to evacuate them both. From this ill-fated encounter, these two lonely people who have lost all faith in love, discover that even when life seems to have passed them by, there are still surprises to be had.
