Sarah's memories are becoming clearer. She remembers the night of her family's massacre in great detail. The masks begin to fall.

To celebrate Sarah's return, John throws a big costume party. The gates of New Babylon finally open and the city is preparing to experience a memorable carnival night. For her part, Elizabeth secretly manages to blend in with the crowd, intending to purify the city of all its demons, first and foremost John and his relatives.
