Sarah turns the old barn into a space for the local community, starting with a charity tea dance. The boys decide to try out wildlife photography and build a deer hide.
The family transform Sarah's dad's old caravan that's tucked away in the corner of the barn into a bijou living and sleeping space for when the family band is on tour.
The new series continues, as Sarah Beeny and her family build the home of their dreams on their 220-acre farm in rural Somerset. This time, the whole family go on a holiday down the Kennet and Avon Canal onboard on a 65-foot barge, something that Sarah has always dreamt of doing. Having spent the last few years juggling the build of their dream home with the chaos of family life, they all fancy a change of scenery. Braving the typically changeable English weather, they take on some tricky locks, fish for their dinner, explore the hills of Avoncliff on bike, venture out on the river to meet some beavers and swim with an urban mermaid.
