Track down Britain's most cutting-edge beach hut. Visit a Lincolnshire loo with a view, a sun-following Eastbourne café, a gadget-packed fishing bothy in Aberdeenshire, a recycling haven in Wales and tough Hampshire huts that double as a seawall.
Jay Blades and Laura Jackson continue their hunt for Britain's most luxurious beach huts. Jay starts his journey in Dorset at Britain's most expensive beach huts, where a spot on the sand can set a buyer back a cool half a million pounds. He then heads to Scotland to a smugglers' tunnel to a secret beach hut on the shores of a private bay. Laura discovers a complete wellness centre contained in a handcrafted beach hut in Margate, Kent, before seeing how a building that was the birthplace of telecommunications now offers an extravagant beach hut escape on the west Wales coast.
Craftsman Jay Blades and interior design expert Laura Jackson travel the coastline as they compete to find the best beach huts Britain has to offer. Jay starts his adventures in Norfolk, meeting a fellow craftsman who's created a multi-coloured patchwork hut made of driftwood, before heading to Herne Bay where wedding bells are in the air at a beach hut on the pier. Laura's choices include a 1940s time warp in Hampshire and an inspirational owner making dreams come true in Essex.
