Christmas arrives at Heartlake! Zac needs volunteers for a snowboarding competition, while Leo and Paisley hang decorations and cook at the restaurant.

While trying to make the final preparations for the big opening of the community centre, the friends' plans are disrupted by the seniors' weekly Bocce game.

Struggling to choose only one of her friends' many ideas for what should go inside the new community center, Aliya must find a different solution.

The friends come together and do what each of them does best to come up with the best idea for this year's big initiative! Their idea is to turn the annex into a big community center full of creative opportunities for the whole city. Aliya is the idea maker along with Leo and Zac, Olly is the filmmaker, Liann the creative and Paisley becomes the entertainer after the friends discover the perfect song for her to play. Can the friends save the annex?

The friends decide to run a street fair to raise money for the new community center. Since it was his idea, Leo wants to lend a helping hand wherever he can, but can he be in three places at once?

Autumn takes Aliya horseback riding in nature to de-stress, but Autumn is anything but calm, knowing that she was supposed to be at the dog rescue center. Meanwhile at the Adoption Center, Nova and Liann accidentally let all the puppies out. Can they get all the puppies back safely before Autumn finds out?

Autumn and Nova are paired up in class to make a video game. But working together doesn't come easy when no one is communicating well. While Nova is unsuccessfully working on a video game, Autumn is more focused on helping a puppy at the Rescue Center. Will they discover that they have the answer to each other's problems and help one another?

Expressing her anger through art, Liann draws a rude picture of Nova. But when the picture gets out, Liann must track it down before Nova sees it. Meanwhile, Zac and Aliya clash as roommates, because Zac is not as good at keeping their shared space tidy. Will the friends be able to work out their differences and see eye to eye?

After making a disaster at a science experiment in school, the friendship between Aliya, Autumn, Liann and Nova is a bit strained. Therefore, Autumn hosts a sleepover at her barn to lighten the mood and for them to work on their friendship. But everything is not as comfy as it seems to be. What was that sound? Did we see a shadow? Could it be that the barn is haunted? The girls will have to work together to figure out the mystery.

Zac arrives for his first day at Heartlake International High School, and Aliya is so excited to introduce her cousin to all her friends. But will the pressure of making a good impression be too much for Zac?
