In this special Christmas episode, everyone is in high spirits as Kelvin surprises Liz with baby alpacas for the farm, Marnie helps look after a rescued pony in desperate need of a good home, a new ram is introduced to the flock as mating season gets underway, and the family head into the woodland to find the perfect Christmas tree for the farm house. All this takes place whilst the pressure mounts as Kelvin and Liz prepare to open the farm for a huge Christmas event. 

It's all hands-on deck as a break in the weather offers a chance to save the valuable harvest, while the family witnesses eight piglets being born, but the older ones wreak havoc with the farm's water supply. Liz and Marnie are in the top field checking on the ewes, and Kelvin gets hands-on with some of the feistiest animals on the farm.

The family puts pet lamb Aga in with the rest of the flock, and a couple of older lambs are the first to leave for market. Marnie and Milo make a birdbox and Kelvin is concerned the bad weather might ruin the harvest. Elsewhere, it's another first as the family sets up a stall at the Cheshire Show in an attempt to sell produce to the public.

There is an emergency on the farm when a ewe becomes sick, Kelvin readies the older piglets for market and a visit to A&E is in order after a run-in with a wasp's nest. A kitten becomes the newest member of the household and it is party time as Kelvin pulls out all the stops for a surprise birthday bash for Liz's 40th.

Chicken pox hits the Fletcher household just as the family take delivery of their first flock of chickens, while a neighbouring farmer helps Kelvin and Liz with their sheep shearing. Preparations are in full swing for imminent piglet birth, Kelvin and Marnie get some timely advice on managing the ancient woodlands and a milestone is celebrated as the twins take their first steps.

It's all hands-on deck as the Fletchers gather in their expanded flock for an essential health check and orphaned lamb Aga is thriving wiith the family's constant care. Kelvin has his sights set on some impressive livestock when he visits a local cattle breeder, the vet visits the farm to finally reveal if the pigs are pregnant, and the family visit their local summer fate for some quality time together.

Kelvin takes his son Milo on an adventure to his first-ever cattle market, while the pigs run amok as they are being moved into the woodland. Liz channels her inner shepherdess as she single-handedly delivers a lamb, while the twins celebrate their first birthday, but an escapee sheep means dinner is on hold.

Emotions run high as the family host their first public event, while Marnie explains the importance of animal husbandry as she cares for orphaned lamb Aga. Bruce the boar arrives on the farm to maximise the chances of pig-breeding success, and Kelvin and Liz roll up their sleeves as they renovate the farm cottage as a holiday rental to bring in extra income.

This week, the family are in the midst of their busiest lambing season ever, as the thrill of new life turns in to a battle for survival. Kelvin and Liz enter the world of pig breeding as they attempt the complex art of Artificial Insemination, and Kelvin heads out to collect some adorable new livestock as they make preparations to open the farm for their first public event.
