Comedian and presenter Alexander Armstrong explores some of Britain's best and most spectacular pub walks. In the first episode, he is joined in Yorkshire by James May, who discusses memories from his childhood, getting repeatedly fired from jobs, his eventful Top Gear days and, under a tree in the grounds of Bolton Abbey, opens up about ageing and retirement.

They hunt for fossils, make their own works of art, and have a sing-song, as Lenny ponders a possible return to stand-up comedy.
