Both seem to want to continue solving crossword puzzles, but something needs to be done about ironing the laundry so they build a machine to do it for them.

Sitting in a nature, being bored, and looking at birds and butterflies, the idea to find a way to fly is born. While one of them is perfectly content just reading the book, all the work around him starts to intrigue him and before long both of them are devising all sorts of methods to fly.

Single spider-web on the ceiling requires some cleaning. But after making it all the dirtier the ceiling now needs some new paint. This proves too complicated for one man job, so it's time to call the trusty neighbour for help.

In the end, when everything fails, building a home fireplace is the last solution... but alas, thinking of building a chimney on the outside did not cross their minds.

After the needle on the gramophone doesn't turn properly, our trusty neighbours decide to fix the gramophone... then fix the vinyls... then fix whatever they broke until there's nothing left but to play their own music.

Of course, that doesn't trouble them as they just exchange between white and black pieces and end up with 16 each, despite not matching the shapes. The problem here is that light bulb needs replacing and for some reason that is not as easy to do as it sounds.

They got the car. They got the garage. Now it's time to park it... or destroy the car trying.

Getting the new picture is great, but the frame is too big to fit through the door. Of course, the best solution is to cut out the picture and chop the frame to smaller pieces and then glue it back together again. Yup, that's the BEST course of action.

After falling off the chair several time by swinging while watching TV, they decide to build a rocking chair... which leads to several accidents in the process.

After opening a can of goulash, everything splashed out onto the walls and curtains. So the sane thing to do is add new tapestries all over the room. But that's not a one-man job and when the going gets tough neighbour comes to the rescue.

Preparing a chicken roast is not as easy as it seems, and Pat & Mat are masters at destroying everything in the process of trying to make something.
