First time release of a live-action version of "Meitantei Conan" anime, featuring Shun Oguri as Conan or better said as Shinichi Kudou as the events take place before the actual anime, namely before Shinichi turned into Conan.

There are two movies released in total. Later in 2011 this story got a remake as a live-action TV series.

The first movie was released as a 10th Anniversary special of "Meitantei Conan" anime TV series.
