Nikita works in a video store and dreams of becoming a director. But a fatal diagnosis ruins his plans for life. Realizing that there is almost no time, he decides to fulfill an old school dream — to walk through the wild taiga with his classmates to the mystical Manpupuner plateau and make his first and possibly last film about it. Four friends find themselves in wild places where people disappear and poachers rule. But the further they go through the sharp rocks and stormy rivers, the more clearly they realize that each of them must pass the real test inside themselves.
