The day of the Waterloo Road pantomime has finally arrived, but when Finn gets Kyle purposefully kicked off the cast, Sam begins to doubt their relationship - he is not the boy she thought he was. Meanwhile, Denzil learns his lesson when his latest stunt ends in tragedy. Elsewhere, Jonah sneaks out of school to meet Cesca and they rush to Gretna Green, but will the police catch the couple before they reach the church?

Cesca hands in her notice, reasoning that if she is not Jonah's teacher then they can go public with their relationship, but Chris is onto the couple, and it seems like their affair cannot be contained any longer. Adanna unveils her latest plan to unite the sexes - a pantomime called Cinderfella - and everyone is shocked by Kyle Stack's audition. Meanwhile, Denzil's latest 'stunt' places his own safety in jeopardy.

The school is gripped in fashion show fever and Ronan's good-looking mentor, Dan, is brought in to judge the competition - much to Adanna's dismay. Ronan's attempts to bolster Vicki's flagging self-confidence through the fashion show take an unexpected turn. Elsewhere Cesca and Jonah make a decision that will change their lives forever.

Finn and Ronan's party in an abandoned mill is the talk of the school, but the boys' bragging ends up alienating the only two girls they want to show up: Vicki MacDonald and Sambuca Kelly. Jonah considers leaving school if it means he can be with Cesca earlier, not realising that Cesca has discovered she is pregnant. Later, at the party, events escalate out of control, and it is up to Tom to save the day.

The truth about why Bex ran away is finally revealed when year 11 pupil Wayne Bodley stumbles upon compromising footage of her on the internet. Tom's recovery is tested as he is forced to deal with the fallout and try to correct Wayne's attitude towards women. Elsewhere, Sam and Finn's mutual antagonism develops in an unexpected way.

Harry's cry for attention veers out of control when he steals Karen's mobile phone and uses it to send the staff incendiary emails. Karen and Chris have their hands full with the boy-only business initiative, especially when Sambuca Kelly returns to Waterloo Road and leads the girls in gate-crashing the event. Elsewhere, Tom struggles to readjust during his first day back.

Ruby's political views land her in hot water when she unwittingly encourages year 11 pupil Martin Dowling's racial abuse of the new school caretaker. Cesca finds it increasingly hard to resist Jonah's seductive charm, while Ronan and Janeece go head-to-head over a stolen test paper.

Nate and Josh's burgeoning romance hits a rough spot when Nate's homophobic dad finds out about their relationship, and Tom is forced to bear the brunt of his anger. Elsewhere, Hodge continues to hound Bex and Karen tries to discover what her oldest daughter is hiding. Cesca continues to blur the professional and personal boundaries between her and Jonah.

Year ten pupil Billie Taylor is convinced that her own mother is trying to steal her newborn daughter from her, so Janeece offers to help. The staff are shocked by Grantly's dishevelled appearance, and decide he needs more assistance at home. Cesca begins tutoring Jonah in one-on-one Spanish lessons.

Karen and Chris kick off a new term at Waterloo Road with a controversial scheme separating the boys and girls - much to the disdain of Adanna Lawal, the new Head of Pastoral Care. New Year 10 pupil Kyle Stack is accused of sexual assault, and causes chaos when he brings his pet Rottweiler into the school. Bex Fisher refuses to open up to her family about what happened to her when she ran away.

Grantly finally places Fleur in a care home, but resorts to drastic measures when he realises how much money he need to raise for her fees. When Ruth discovers that Grantly has taught his A-Level class the wrong syllabus, he finds it hard to conceal the reason why he is unravelling. Back at the Fisher house, Jess receives a very unexpected visitor.

Chris's controversial scheme to equip Waterloo Road with CCTV backfires when it risks exposing his one-night stand with Jess Fisher. Seeing how badly Grantly is coping at home, Ruby calls in a familiar face to talk some sense into him. Meanwhile, Janeece finally tells Ruby she wants her baby girl back, but is it too late?

Vicky's home situation spirals out of control as she fails to juggle her schoolwork, living in a hostel and visiting her critically ill father. Caring for Fleur begins to affect Grantly's ability to perform his job, while Janeece begins to wonder whether giving away her baby to Ruby and John was the right decision.

Ruth gets a taste of popularity when she proves to be Waterloo Road's strongest entrant in the interschool debating contest, but will it last? As his bullying continues and his parent's separation causes conflict, Harry's bulimia reaches crisis point. Ruby grows tired of Janeece using her as a personal slave.

Sam draws Cesca into a complicated situation when she attempts to get rid of drugs brought into school by Lauren and Amy. Elsewhere, jealous of Janeece and John's friendship, Ruby tries to inject the spark back into her marriage. Meanwhile, Grantly reveals his beloved wife is suffering from Alzheimer's.

Marcus's first day almost ends in disaster when he wades into Ronan's home life before properly understanding the situation, driving father and son further apart. Tom is concerned at Josh's inability to stand up for himself. Janeece calls Ruby on her past - will Ruby really make a good mother to her baby?

A confused Josh finds his sexuality the talk of the school when, much to the humiliation of Lauren, he tries to kiss Finn. Karen and Charlie are awkwardly giving their marriage a second chance, but argue about how best to mark missing daughter Bex's birthday. Elsewhere, Janeece makes an important decision about her baby.

Chris finds himself in a difficult position when a controversial new sexual health initiative highlights the sensitivity surrounding sexual issues. Ronan and his girlfriend Sarah argue over whether or not she should take the morning-after pill. Meanwhile, Lauren directs her romantic attentions towards a reluctant Josh.

Jess becomes jealous as Karen and Chris grow closer professionally and sabotages their friendship by publishing a vicious article in the school newspaper. Elsewhere Harry believes his dad Charlie is having an affair with Miss Montoya and enlists Sam's help to prove it. Sam is glad to be back in school after her suspension and tries to make amends with Lauren.

New headmistress Karen Fisher has her hands full dealing with Waterloo Road's newest family - two previously home-schooled pupils, Ruth and Jonah Kirby, and their warring parents. Unhappy attending a mainstream school, Ruth attempts to get expelled from Waterloo Road and when this fails she runs away, inadvertently placing her life in danger.

Chris has his own problems when he discovers the girl he slept with last night is actually one of his new sixth form pupils, Jess Fisher - and she happens to be Karen's daughter.
