Van receives Football Player of the Year Award and his mother attends the banquet.   

When Reba throws Cheyenne a baby shower, she and Brock disagree over giving she and Van a car as a present. Reba then has second thoughts about her stance when she's stuck helping Van with his new job to pay for the car.
