Their lives could not be more different. While his workday is ending, hers is just beginning. In this story, Angélica is a beautiful prostitute, known as ‘Poderosa', who regularly visits a roadside gas station. It is there that she meets the agronomist Miguel, a nobleman from São Paulo with a good character, who sells the vegetables he grows on his property. They barely cross paths, the attraction is evident, although they have no idea what the future holds for them.

Rejected by her father as a child, Angélica is a woman who soon became independent and is, without knowing it, involved in many mysteries. One of them has to do with a conspiracy to assassinate her. A task that is not easy at all, and which will be made more difficult by the unconditional passion that grows between the Angélica and Miguel.
