Admiral von Schneider arranges a one-on-one date for Miss Sophie - one that is anything but conventional. Between dubious "medicine" and disarming confessions, the gentlemen reveal their true colors. In the end, one of the suitors takes matters into his own hands and bows out of the race.
Miss Sophie invites the gentlemen on a dream date to Ascot: horse races, strawberry punch, and high stakes. But in Ascot, Miss Sophie suffers yet another financial setback. James uncovers a dirty scheme and ultimately exposes one of the suitors as a fraud.
