Trapped by the raging storm and unable to call for help, the guests retreat to their rooms, uncertain who among them is the killer; two strangers seeking shelter hide their true identities from the others.

When the storm temporarily subsides, the guests attempt to leave the motel and find help. Others try to figure out who the other killer might be.
