Thirty years ago, a newlywed couple were murdered at the Cold River Motel in a satanic ritual; a group of true crime enthusiasts have been invited to the motel's reopening, where they discover history might be repeating itself. 

Fear and paranoia drive some of the guests to take part in something unspeakable.
