Two rebellious lovers flee the order of the 20th century to a jungle that promises freedom, unaware that an even crueler law rules there. The story of poet Arturo Cova, who flees with his beloved Alicia. The journey takes them from Bogotá to the Eastern Plains and, finally, to the Amazon rainforest, where they must confront the harshness of their surroundings.
