On the eve of Mother's Day, the women of the Trifonov family have everything awry. The head teacher is on the verge of dismissal due to the sad situation with the director. Maria Pavlovna and Nastya quarrel: they will not decide in any way whether it is worth intervening and defending Natalia's honor. Strangely enough, they will be helped by colleagues who have become very attached to all three of them.
Maria Pavlovna and Leonid are moving in after all - they have a three—day trial period. The love boat is traditionally broken up, but not over domestic disagreements. It's just that the teacher has too many things on her mind. On the one hand, she defends the right to take students to the Olympics. On the other hand, the worried grandmother will not reconcile Nastya with Bogdan in any way.
Love is not an exact science at all, and even a first—class math teacher sometimes cannot figure it out. Maria Pavlovna is forced to seek help from a colleague who recently came to her for advice. Meanwhile, the rest of the teachers are again suffering from Natalia's management methods. This time, the head teacher violated the sacred tradition of the school.
The temporary absence of the director gives Natalia unexpected power. And the first measure she decides to take is to install surveillance cameras, because they have already spent money from the budget on them. But colleagues are ready to defend their independence. Maria Pavlovna makes the first move in this struggle, but she is much more concerned about her granddaughter: Nastya has encountered oddities in Bogdan's behavior.
Honest feedback is important, because that's the only way to get better. At least with this message, once a year, students of the school of the future evaluate their teachers. In reality, colleagues are ready to do anything for high scores: to dismantle the "Walking Dead", and feed teenagers burgers, and even play the violin to them. But respect is not something that can be earned in one day.
Colleagues are mentally preparing Maria Pavlovna for an unusual corporate event. Instead of a glass of cognac, bird's milk and everyday conversations, everyone has to be involved in the board game "Mordasia", developed by the historian. And while the math teacher is trying to figure out if the courtesan's card is offensive to her, another performance is being played out at the table, which the teachers don't even know about.
Another terrible discovery strikes the head teacher of educational work: Natalia notices a louse in the student's hair. Panic reigns in the staff room. The director asks not to tell parents about what is happening and forces the team to think of a more secretive way to get rid of pediculosis. But the smell of kerosene and childhood injuries is much more difficult to eradicate than arthropod pests.
Nastya runs into Leonid and for the first time realizes that her grandmother may have a personal life. Coming to terms with this idea is proving to be more difficult than she expected. While the girl is experiencing a new discovery, Natalia anxiously monitors her daughter's condition. Who knows what terrible truth the teenager is hiding from her? It would be worth having a heart-to-heart conversation here, but the mother has her own method.
Egor has another rap battle coming up. This time, Nastya alone is not enough — it's time to seek help from a higher-ranking specialist. The whole school knows that Maria Pavlovna has no equal in diss: she wrote them even before she found out about the existence of such a word. While her mother is busy verbally humiliating her, Natalia is trying to figure out which stain is more terrible for her — on her clothes or on her reputation.
There was a murder in the English classroom that night. Fortunately, it's not a real one, but a game one: students have to guess the killer in order to get the key to completing the annual quest. The rest of the teachers are also preparing different assignments, although in the end it will still be a test for their nervous system. Some teachers are let down by their knowledge of their own subject, while others are let down by a crazy bitcoin.
His passion for salmon pie leads Boyan into a love triangle that he didn't sign up for at all. Maria Pavlovna's neighbor, Leonid, sees in him a romantic rival and opaquely hints that he is ready to fight for the favor of the mathematician. To somehow explain the unexpectedly cold attitude towards his colleague, the Serb has to play out a story about a jealous girl. Natalia is also trying on a new role: the historian suggests that she embody the image of the bloody landowner Saltychikha, but she copes even too well.
The school is full of crap: the caretaker does not give Maria Pavlovna a pass, caring for her in every way. This turns out to be very useful, because against the background of Natalia's next trick, the mathematician may be out of work. Although the scheme for the dismissal of the mother has its flaws. You'll have to trust the director, who likes motivational speeches in the morning, but doesn't feel confident at all in serious negotiations.
The battle for the office continues: Natalia takes advantage of the moment and blackmails the director. Nastya also suddenly has to plot. Maria Pavlovna considers herself a grandmother, and her granddaughter really wants to convince her. To do this, she asks the curator for help, and he turns to the caretaker, not even suspecting what a curious situation this will lead to.
If parents donate money for curtains, then what do teachers donate for? The answer is simple: you need to give gifts to your birthday colleagues. Natalia is shaking her authority, so she decides to collect two thousand instead of one. To do this, however, you will have to feel like a real collector. Maria Pavlovna also has an unusual idea. After learning that Nastya likes her classmate Bogdan, she tries to arrange for them to go to a stand-up.
Natalia seems to have lost the habit of working at school. Or the newly minted head teacher simply wasn't prepared for the fact that an ordinary remark to a student could end with a juicy spit in her face. The principal begs him not to say anything to Misha's high-ranking parents, so as not to spoil their relationship with the school. It requires many years of experience in dealing with arrogant boys who were poorly educated at home. And Maria Pavlovna has one.
The rapprochement with his granddaughter Nastya is going slowly but surely. The girl tells Maria Pavlovna that the numbers in an ordinary magazine no longer frighten anyone — you need to put deuces online. In addition, the annoying curator of the school is trying to convince the mathematician that every bad grade must be supplemented with a good one. Maria Pavlovna sees this as nonsense, and her daughter Natalia sees it as a chance to quickly expel her mother from school.
The harsh but fair mathematician Maria Pavlovna Trifonova finds out that for the sake of her health she urgently needs to slow down — she even has to drink antidepressants. The doctor also advises to establish communication with her granddaughter Nastya, whom Trifonova hardly sees. This is how an old-school teacher gets into a prestigious school of the future... and realizes that there is no peace here. After all, exact sciences require discipline and attention, and the age of technology has given children problems with both.
