A woman is found murdered in the home of a notorious womanizer, restaurateur Lebedev. The investigation is led by Kira Avdeeva, who has a score of her own to settle with the womanizers: her lover just dumped her, publicly insulting her as they parted. It seems obvious that Lebedev is the culprit. But it soon emerges that his son disappeared on the evening of the murder.
