Santiago prevents Cristóbal from operating on the drug lord and infuriates the man's gang by kicking them out. After Cristóbal reveals that the clinic is in dire shape financially, Santiago offers to sell the house he bought for Julia, who doesn't want it anyway. Matías becomes popular by dealing drugs. And Santiago is devastated to learn that he misdiagnosed a girl who has skin cancer.

As the drug lord is prepared for surgery, a man bursts in and disconnects him from the machines, killing him. Santiago wants to quit the practice. Later, after Julia tries to reason with him, Santiago accuses her of being on Cristóbal's side. Meanwhile, while driving, Julia is chased, causing her to crash. And Matías comforts his classmate Lucia and steals Julia's money to pay his drug dealer.
