The series tells the story of the Zaguri family from Beersheba. The series begins with the return home of prodigal son Aviel, who was kicked out of the house by the family patriarch years earlier. His sudden return tears up the house and ignites an internal war, which further intensifies when the family starts believing they are cursed.
