The curtain rises, and the play of "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter: A New Translation," for which Ritsuko wrote the script, begins. It proceeds as practiced, but towards the end, as they reach the scene where Princess Kaguya and the old women say goodbye, Nao notices Suzumi's feelings about the story and asks her a serious question that is not in the script.

Sunao and Nao head to their respective destinations: Kyoto, their school trip destination, and Fujinomiya, Ryo's hometown. As Sunao tours tourist spots with Akiya, Sato, and Yoshii, he gradually becomes closer to them. Meanwhile, Nao and Aki, who have arrived in Fujinomiya, are enjoying activities at a ranch when they unexpectedly run into a certain "senior."
