When Fukaumi's actions ended the relationship between the three, Rinko blamed herself, and Usata was furious. But Satsuki suggested that they use this as an opportunity to return to the way they were before the rift formed. As she lived alone, Rinko reminisced about the happy days they had spent together, while Usata remained calm and composed. Pome (Homoda), a rookie manga artist who secretly harbors feelings for his neighbor Rinko, is egged on by Hazuki and Corgi to put into action a plan that leverages his strengths as a "clumsy, dog-like guy." Rinko readily agrees to Pome's request for Valentine's Day chocolates as a reward if his submitted storyboard is approved. Rinko then devises a plan to give chocolates to Satsuki and Usada as well. Meanwhile, Pome's storyboard is harshly criticized by his editor, but the key to his comeback lies with Usada, who happens to be there. Will Pome's "dog strategy" be successful or not!?
