A former organized crime detective and a brilliant but socially awkward psychologist team up at the newly established Crime Victim Support Office at Tokyo's Nishi-Ikebukuro Police Station. Together, they use contrasting approaches to support crime victims and bereaved families, helping them overcome their trauma and move forward in life.
