Competition is fierce, and the race begins at dawn at the Acropolis. As the sun rises, there are clashes with the Chasers in an Athenian temple, and the shadow of the Olympic stadium, a plate-smashing quiz in a Greek taverna, and a skilful stone-carving test before a dramatic dash to find Bradley Walsh at the finish line.

The teams arrive in Zurich, where the Governess and Dark Destroyer challenge them with quizzes guiding their race to Bradley Walsh. Starting on Lake Zurich, they tackle Einstein-themed games, visit the FIFA Museum and a chocolate factory, then head into the Alps for a cable-car quiz and James Bond villain's lair.

The teams land in Paris to take on the Vixen and the Beast. They set a series of quiz questions that the players must solve to navigate across the city and find Bradley Walsh at the finish line. The first challenge is a quiz on an open-top bus around the Arc de Triomphe. The race across the city forces the teams to navigate their way to the finish line by successfully completing games involving waxworks, snails, Notre Dame, and a captive music quiz in the back of a taxi.

The teams land in Lisbon to take on the Dark Destroyer and the Sinnerman, who have set a series of quiz questions that the teams must solve to navigate across the city and find Bradley Walsh at the finish line. The final pair will need to beat them to join the other teams and head onto the next city, lose and it's the first flight home.
