The story follows Li Xiongmao, a human boy raised by the demon race, who is ordered by his master to leave the Black and White Mountain to kill three enemies who destroyed the demon race. In the process of investigating the truth, he gradually uncovers the story of the conflict between humans and demons, the secrets of the dynasty, and the mystery of his own destiny.
