Kevin and Audrey are in charge while Julia's away tending to a cat emergency, and Kevin just wants to get through the day quietly without anyone finding out it's his birthday, while Audrey tries to put her management skills to the test.

Kevin is put in charge of the office earthquake drill on the same day that he has an important interview. Meanwhile, Kevin avoids Audrey after an awkward confrontation; Brian helps Patti's boyfriend prove his manliness to her; and Roxie confronts Audrey about her treatment of Kevin.
