When Maggie and Andrew discover Philip is having trouble from a school bully, they decide to visit his parents.

Maggie discovers that her neighbours are moving because her household is too noisy. Philip is unhappy that Maggie and Andrew plan to jive at his school dance.

Georgia announces that she is fasting for world peace but Maggie is worried when she doesn't start eating again.

When the Prentices take a family holiday on a narrow boat, Andrew draws up a duty rota. As his only "duty" appears to be acting as captain, it is not long before the crew are plotting mutiny.

Maggie becomes a cub mistress and Andrew has a reunion lunch withhisformer secretary. But when Rosie tries to arrange forthe Prentices to win a car in the raffle, Maggie faces a moral dilemma.

Maggie feels superfluous when the children all go to Andrew with their problems. So she decides to leave home.

Maggie and Andrew are accused of embarrassing their grandchildren in public.

Maggie has flu. Andrew reassures her that he can handle everything, but it's not long before the rot sets in.
