Ryan's ego is boosted when Mike selects him to go with Charlie to volunteer with the police. It's a chance to prove himself. It's no police station, though - it's the police horse stables. Ryan is quickly out of his depth as manager Richard Windsor takes a liking to Charlie and her knowledge of horses. Ryan, not wanting to look a fool, distracts Charlie and attempts to take credit for her work, but Richard sees right through Ryan and calls him out on his lazy attitude.
