Gathered throughout his lifetime, the gentleman thief Arsène Lupin assembled a vast collection of dangerous items known as the "Lupin Collection". When this collection is stolen by interspace invaders known as the Gangler, two teams set out to retrieve it! Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger, who desire to live up to Lupin's name, aim at stealing back the collection from the Gangler. In the movie, Kairi, Tooma, and Umika are abducted by Minato Hoshi from a parallel universe. The international police who just happened to be at the scene encountered an interference in the investigation when Lucky arrived. The only thing left behind at the scene of the crime was Minato's guitar. Lucky was then arrested and tried to convince the Patrangers to no avail that he's a savior, a member of the Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger, and that the Earth is in danger. While Keiichiro, Sakuya, Tsukasa, and Noel were reaching a trade agreement to save the Lupinrangers, a triple status Gangler named Rirus Lippig appeared. While the thieves were saved, Minato's guitar was taken instead by Rirus.
Behind the scenes of it all is the Space Shogunate Jark Matter's Don Arkage, who sought to take hold of Jark Matter's Hidden Treasure, concealed within the guitar. To do so, he joined forces with Rirus.

It's been 20 years since the Silver Imperial Army Zone attacked the planet Sidon, and five siblings who were separated from their parents have become elementary school teachers on Earth. Then one day, the Zone sets a new target on Earth and begins its invasion.

When they finally returned to Earth in 1986 to combat Mess, who are now trying to invade, they use the opportunity to search for their birth parents. It is later that they learn they can only stay on Earth for one year before the now-alien atmosphere of their true planet will physically harm them (the Anti-Flash Phenomenon).
Many centuries ago, the android Peebo and the BioRobo came to Earth from the fallen Bio Star. The BioRobo showered five people with the Bio Particles, which would be passed on to later generations. In the present day, Doctor Man and his Shin Teikoku (New Empire) Gear threaten the world. Peebo must find the descendants of the original Bio Particle-showered five to form the Choudenshi (Super Electronic Squadron) Bioman.
