On an Earth where neither heroes nor kaiju exist, an alien suddenly falls from the sky. This Ultra's symbol is the red space boomerang he holds, the Omega Slugger, and his name means "ultimate." "Omega" is an alien who has lost his memories. Taking human form and adopting the name "Sorato", he becomes interested in the life forms called "Earthlings" that he is encountering for the first time and attempts to understand them. When a giant life form appears, amnesiac Sorato recalls a word-"kaiju". As these kaiju continue to appear before him, a sense of duty awakens in Sorato's subconscious. He transforms into "Ultraman Omega" and an intense, fast-paced fight unfolds. The Earthlings, in turn, are grappling with encountering these gigantic life forms and the alien that fights with a red slugger for the first time, watching from various places and trying to understand what they are. Before long, Sorato and an ordinary young man-an alien and an Earthling, become friends. This ambitious work poses a question through these friends' resonating hearts; "Why does Ultraman protect the Earth?" Now, is when they awaken.

Established in 1966 by nations all around the world in response to the worldwide outbreak of kaiju disasters, the Global Guardian Force (GGF) deals with kaiju and extraterrestrial life forms' attacks on Earth.

Today, Earth sees continued destruction of nature and rapid rise in global warming. One night, a space crustacean kaiju Bazanga appears. The GGF's cleanup operation is unsuccessful, and the special forces led by Gento Hiruma find themselves in a desperate situation. This is when a mysterious giant emerges from light. It is the unidentified humanoid alien that has been rumored among astronauts for decades, code-named "Ultraman".

Later, Gento is summoned to the command center, where he is officially appointed as the commander of SKaRD, short for Special Kaiju Reaction Detachment, a team that had been secretly formed. Leading a special unit that pilots a giant kaiju-type robot artillery, Earth Garon, to respond with kaiju disasters. While Gento is ordered to investigate the Ultraman from the Battle of Bazanga, to determine whether it is a threat that needs to be eliminated or not, he has a flashback of a faraway galaxy—a shred of memory of a blazar.

The threat of monster attacks fades, and the Earth seems once again at peace. Humanity turns its eyes to the stars and heads to space, while its monster attack countermeasures continue to shrink.

When two brothers with clashing personalities obtain incredible powers, they focus on overcoming their differences to defend Earth as a superhero team.

Families are always around us and hence they are likely to be taken for granted. This is a story of brothers, revolving around the main theme of "Bond" and "Love". One day, the brothers encounter a monster and almost lose their lives in the mountain. Then, two transformation items appear there suddenly, and the brothers will throw themselves into the battle world as Ultraman...

This is a story of a hero who inherits Ultraman Belial, the evil Ultraman's genes.  Despite suffering from repeating setbacks and despair of knowing the secret of his birth and cruel fate, he never loses sight of friendship and strong will to become a true hero.  The story unfolds through the spiritual growth of the protagonist who seeks for the meaning of his own life and finds the place where he belongs, through fighting against evil and his own cursed destiny, to become a hero of justice.

At one time, all of the Ultra warriors, along with the monsters and aliens, were turned into Spark Dolls by the mysterious Dark Spark. Time passed, and the youth Hikaru Rido got hold of the mysterious Ginga Spark, which could return the monsters and Ultra warriors to their previous giant forms. In order to protect those dear to him, Hikaru Ult-Lives the Ultras and monsters and faces off against the evil monsters.

A cosmic being joins with a 19-year-old human to form a gigantic superhero and battle monsters infected with a virus that makes them dangerously aggressive.

Ultraman Tiga (ウルトラマンティガ Urutoraman Tiga) is the 12th entry in the Ultraman Series, airing from September 7, 1996 to August 30, 1997. It was the first Ultraman Series broadcast in Japan since 1980's Ultraman 80. The series is notable for revolutionizing and revitalizing the franchise, not to mention the great effect it had on the tokusatsu genre as a whole outside of Tsuburaya.

Despite being preceded by Ultraman Great as the first Ultraman Series to be aired in Japan in the Heisei period, and by Ultraman Neos to be the first Japanese-made Ultraman Series in the Heisei period, it is Ultraman Tiga that is officially and unofficially recognized as Tsuburaya Productions' first proper Ultraman Series entry in the Heisei period.

Set in a universe different from all previous series, Ultraman Tiga introduced new and radical updates to the Ultraman character for a new generation of audiences; most notably staring the first Ultraman with multiple combat modes and non-red colors (purple and gold). It is also considered one of the most popular entries in the franchise.

After being scouted to the Earth defense team ZAT (Zariba of All Territory), young boxer Kotaro Higashi is severely injured during a Kaiju attack. At the chasm between life and death, Mother of Ultra appeared and saved Kotaro by merging his life with a young Ultra Hero, thus giving birth to the sixth Ultra Brother… Ultraman Taro!

Alternate Dimension Being Yapool started invading Earth with an entourage of "Terrible-Monsters" that were more powerful than ordinary monsters. The Terrestrial Defense Force was annihilated by Terrible-Monster Verokron. Two youngsters, Seiji Hokuto and Yuko Minami, lost their lives trying to save people from the attack of Verokron. Ultraman Ace, who was sent from Nebula M78 Land of Light to stop Alternate Dimension Being Yapool's malicious ambition, vested his life and power in Seiji Hokuto and Yuko Minami. Hokuto and Yuko, who received a new life, joined the Terrible-Monster Attacking Crew (TAC) that was organized in place of the Terrestrial Defense Force. When the Ultra Rings, the proof of membership of the Galactic Federation, glitter, after performing Ultra Touch, Hokuto and Yuko unite and transform into Ultraman Ace.

The crustal movement and the abnormal climate had occurred repeatedly on a global scale and dormant monsters started to awaken from sleep. A young man named Hideki Go, who was chasing his dream to be a race car driver, lost his life in saving a boy and a puppy that failed to escape in the midst of Monster Takkong's rampage.  However, the new Ultraman, who had come from Nebula M78 to defend Earth, was deeply touched by Go's brave action and resurrected him by uniting as one. After that, Go is determined to fight any enemy that threatens the freedom and happiness of humanity and joined MAT, the Monster Attack Team. While he struggles with his identity gap between Ultraman and Hideki Go, he grows through fighting against the monsters and aliens.

In the Age of Interplanetary Wars, Earth is in danger from those who would threaten its very existence. From their massive underground complex near Mt. Fuji the Ultra Guard, an elite unit of the Terrestrial Defense Force, stands vigilant as our decisive first-line of defense. But unbeknownst to his teammates, Dan Moroboshi is secretly an extraterrestrial aiding them in their fight to preserve the future of humanity. Dubbed Ultraseven, he aides the Ultra Guard in fighting back alien hordes that would doom the world to conquest.

A far greater threat emerges, though, as Ultraseven sees the consequences of his power: can he maintain his soul in the face of constant violence, even when that is necessary to protect his newfound friends?

Ultraman, a giant alien from the Land of Light in Nebula M78, enters Earth's atmosphere in pursuit of an escaped space monster. In the skies above Japan he accidentally crashes into a Jet VTOL piloted by Hayata, a member of the Science Special Search Party (SSSP), an international research and defense agency that protects the world from monsters and aliens of all shapes and sizes. To save Hayata, Ultraman merges his life force with the dying human and vows to stay and fight for peace on Earth. Now, whenever the Patrol faces a threat too great for them to handle, Hayata transforms into Ultraman to save the day!
