After a series of events that put Grace further in debt, including no child support and a dying car, Jimmy comes into a windfall and Grace attempts to find a lawyer who will help her sue for back child support.

Grace has issues trying to figure out why Libby's personality has completely reversed itself. Grace and Russell go on a blind double date with both of them having a night to remember with their perspective dates.

Grace has issues with her flirtatious sister who comes into town for Grace's birthday. Meanwhile, things heat up between Russell and Faith.

Grace gets some bad news when she finds out that her paycheck has been taken by the IRS and she is being  audited; Russell gets some unexpected news when his exwife tells him she wants him back; Russell helps Grace with her IRS problems.

When Libby and Quentin's grandmother Jean takes the kids for a while, Grace and Nadine go out on the town and start reminiscing about old times. They then get invited to a sorority's undergraduate party by three college students. Meanwhile, Russell and Wade decide to steal Russell's dog from the ex-wife in order to save the dog from getting neutered.

Grace realizes that she has a problem with Quentin after a discussion with Quentin's teacher. 

Nadine sets Grace up to go on a date with Russell the Pharmacist, meanwhile Quentin has problems at school.
