This series Mandy continues to live hand-to-wonky-mouth, cooking up enough dodgy side hustles and trashy cash hacks to hopefully climb up into the squeezed middle and out of the squashed bottom. Constantly harassed, pursued and persecuted by her benefits officer, Mandy finds solace in her friend Lola's salon, drinking in the heady aroma of cheap bleach and Minty Pig nail polish.
Mandy rarely dabbles in global diplomacy, especially over Christmas when it's so cold out and there's good telly on, but when she does, you can bet that she makes a real difference to the balance of power in the world.
Mandy is forced to confront a dramatic change to her whole way of life, and she must look for meaning in places where she's either been too tired or too bored to look for it before.

Mandy is joined as ever by her friend, mentor and nail clinician Lola as she navigates her way through the turbulence of her quest for the ultimate aspirational lifestyle – one where she breeds prize-winning Doberman pinchers and has a magic eye picture on every wall.
Once again, Mandy attempts to find fulfilment via a series of short-lived jobs in the modern gig economy. Along the way she becomes a stately home tour guide, appears on a genuinely out-of-this-world reality show, and accepts the most unappealing job in the sewage industry, none of which brings her any closer to her ultimate dream of breeding Doberman Pinschers.
